Christmas Celebration 2020

Christmas is one of the most vibrant as well as popular festivals celebrated grandly at Cigniti. On 22nd December 2020, Cignitians celebrated the event and came in their best red and white attire to sink in the festive mood. There were loads of fun with Carols, Choreo, and Skit. The day ended with fun-filled extravaganza, cake cutting and exchanging best wishes for 2021.

Diwali Celebrations 2020

On the occasion of Diwali, we celebrated victory over defeat, light over darkness, and awareness over ignorance.

Cignitians cherished memories of moments together in their traditional attires and lit up the Hyderabad office for Laxmi Poojan.

The day ended positively with everyone praying for good fortune and abounding happiness.

Toyota Motor Corporation Australia (TMCA), a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation, is the third Fortune 500 company we are working with in the software quality assurance space. We signed an agreement as a strategic Quality Engineering panel vendor to help accelerate their Quality & Digital transformation journey over the next three years.

DGCX selects Cigniti Technologies as Strategic Quality Assurance Service Provider

The Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX), has selected Cigniti Technologies – a global leader in independent quality engineering and software testing services – as its strategic Quality Assurance service provider as the Exchange seeks to upgrade its technology platform.

Cigniti will provide the DGCX Group with quality testing on a number of marketplace solutions that will replace applications currently used by DGCX. This will include functions such as real-time trading and clearing, pre-trade risk management, market intelligence, surveillance and quality assurance.

Change In HR Global Structure

The three big dimensions of this change are, focusing on our vision of ‘One Cigniti’, improving our capabilities in the global scope of operations and working together with more collaboration and agility around our common goals as ‘One HR’.

In this context, we are pleased to announce the following changes in the HR team.

Global HR Business Partners: With Global alignment, the HRBPs will now own employee lifecycle globally for their respective businesses. They will work closely work with regional HR and delivery leadership. However, they are the primary point of contact for all career related discussions for employees and leaders.

  • Sunil Gooty will be the new Global HR Business Partner for NA West.
  • Karthik Balu Sankar will be the Global HR Business Partner for NA East.
  • Sandhya Singh will be the Global HR Business Partner for enabling functions.
  • Purushotham Yadav will be the new HRBP for Practices.
  • Harshan Yata will be the new HRBP for ROW.

Talent Management: This Centre of Excellence Team is a crucial management function which is integral to bringing in modern business practices to match the global industry standards. They will focus on Global HR policies, practices and processes to provide effective leadership for initiating, implementing & institutionalizing HR interventions and in turn, raise the maturity level of our overall people practices.

Regional HR : The regional HR’s are the geo-specific HR’s who would cater to location specific operations, transactions, statutory & compliances and will be an extended arm to the Global HRBP’s. However, due to their presence in respective geographies, they will partner with HRBPs and front end at respective locations for any employee discussions and in person meetings.

  • Ronda Van Dyke will be the regional HR for North America & Canada
  • Andrea Mclellan will be the regional HR for the UK.
  • Priya Muddu will be the HR business partner for North America & Canada Sales

Compensation & Benefits: Deepak Davey along with Ayesha Dudekula and Mani Pavan Kodi will drive the total rewards structure for the global employees. This team is responsible for defining the compensation philosophy and managing the benefits for all employees globally.

HR Shared Services: Mohana Balla along with Battu Sunitha and Bindu Chinthala will drive HR shared services. They will manage the Helpdesk and take care of all the backend related HR Activities in the employee lifecycle.

Launching The Revised Code of Business Conduct (COBC) Policy

Our current COBC has been revamped to ensure its relevance to the changing business environment and bring in aspects of Global elements to align with our core values.

The revamped policy came into effect on October 27, 2020.

The Hotline reach2resolve@cigniti.com is an integral component of the strong compliance culture at Cigniti. It provides a channel for all employees, contractors, customers, third-party agencies and other partners to report potential violations of the Code of Business Conduct, other Company policies or the applicable laws and regulations in the countries of operation. The Hotline is available 24/7, the concerns can be sent to this email and the team shall respond at the earliest and act as required.

Introducing special leaves for COVID treatment

We are continuously monitoring and taking stock of the updates on the spread of COVID-19, and how it is impacting us within the Cigniti family. In our endeavor to ensure your safety and wellbeing, we are pleased to introduce a special leave which is an extension to the existing general leaves called Special leave for COVID treatment.

Revised Compensation Letters

We have revised employees 5% compensation correction effective 1st October 2020 and shared revised letters. As an organisation we are putting all the skills and expertise needed to support new business priorities resulting from the current crisis.

Know Your Cigniti

We received an overwhelming participation in the Know Your Cigniti (KYC) – an activity which we organized to stay relevant and to recollect the happenings of the organization.

KYC is a Monthly Global Quiz series where we design quiz on policies, practices, offices, Newsletters. This gives an opportunity to keep employees posted and also provide all the information about the latest happenings in the organization globally.

We conducted treasure hunt on our company website, where clues were given by us to find the answers on website. We wanted to spread awareness about our company and stay relevant on testing, clients, and other segments.

Cigniti Got Talent

Designed an activity for global employees to showcase their talent in the following fields:

  • Any other hidden talent

We received huge participation and this platform helped Cignitians to showcase their talent to the global employees.

Creative DIY | #Recycle

We rolled out Craft challenge, to encourage DIY, and show creative skills.

Employees made use of household items and re-used them with their unique solution to bring life to their ideas.

We as an organisation support go green initiatives and this is one of the activities to show our support to the environment.

Virtual Vacation - Season 1

We all know that moving out in 2020 was impossible and vacation was surely a dream.

Many of us were in social isolation and badly needed a vacation, so we thought why not virtual vacation!

We asked employees to share pictures/videos of their last vacation so that others can take a virtual vacation. This helped all of us go on a virtual trip together and roam while sitting at home.

Home Farm-Season 1

To encourage home farming, we asked employees to share videos/photos of their home farm. We received positive responses on the use of home farming and how it is helping improve their health. We are sure this activity helps other employees to start their home farm.

Culinary Arts-Season 1

Employees shared their recipe, family review, and we made a video collage and rolled out to global employees.

Cigniti Webinars

We did our last webinar of the year on December 3rd 2020 with Gerold Rajesh, SVP & Global Head of Quality Management at Brown Brothers Harriman, and Pradeep Govindasamy, CTO & President, Cigniti on ‘Enterprise Transformation in Financial Industry: Role of DevOps & Continuous Testing.’

The speakers discussed the importance of Continuous Testing to drive the transformation in the financial services industry and shared insights on leading a DevOps-led enterprise transformation.

Cigniti and Neotys teamed up for a webinar on December 7th, 2020, that focused on “Role of Performance Engineering in addressing Digital Transformation challenges.”

Dries Swerts, AVP-Client Success at Cigniti, and Henrik Rexed, Performance Archaeologist, Neotys had a detailed discussion on the importance of shifting from performance testing to performance engineering and how can it help address the challenges of digital transformation.

Strategic Partnerships with Leading US Associations

Cigniti has signed agreement with four leading US associations in the last couple of months to build a stronger network, support thought leadership initiatives and promote technology on these platforms.

PACT – Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies 

Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT) is a non-profit organization that provides opportunities to foster growth and innovation for entrepreneurship in the Philadelphia region.

Cigniti and PACT intends to become the go-to resource for fast growing companies and a driver of entrepreneurship and innovation. This association will bring a lot of focus on the Thought Leadership initiatives for us, through which we will be able to educate businesses and tech enthusiasts around the next generation and trending technologies. Kalyana Rao Konda, President at Cigniti has been inducted as the board of directors at the PACT.

PhillyCIO, CharlotteCIO and HoustonCIO

The Philadelphia CIO Leadership Association (PhillyCIO), The Charlotte CIO Leadership Association (CharlotteCIO), and The Houston CIO Leadership Association (HoustonCIO), are local arm of the International CIO Leadership Association (ICLA). It is a preeminent professional association for CIOs to network. Together, we intend to foster technology innovation, help IT community become aware of the best practices, and bring the CIOs from different regions to a single platform.

These associations will provide an opportunity for Cigniti to share the latest innovation and best practices related to Quality Engineering.
