In line with the advisory issued by the government across various geographical locations, regarding precautionary measures to be followed to prevent the spread of COVID -19 (Coronavirus), Cigniti management has encouraged employees to work from home, as your safety is our utmost priority.
Leadership in Cigniti is in constant communication with the internal team, as well as with the respective Client Points of Contact to ensure that the Information Security, Data Privacy requirements and Client Contractual obligations are taken into consideration along with infrastructure readiness.
We have also reached out to all Cignitians and asked them to share their “New Home Office” setup to create a positive and collaborative environment.
International Women’s Day Celebration
To celebrate the essence of all the amazing ladies at Cigniti, who keep our engines up and running, we celebrated the International Women’s Day with much fervor, where everyone had a whale of a time. SMASH team organized International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrations on March 5, 2020, where we saluted the spirit of women at Cigniti. All CigniWomen followed the Dress code of Yellow with theme let the ‘New Dawn’ rise. SMASH team connected to all women employees and greeted them with Women’s day wishes card and chocolates.
KelpHR PoSH Award 2020 for ‘Best Culture’ & ‘Safe Workplace’
Cigniti Technologies won the Awards for ‘Best Culture’ & ‘Safe Workplace’ at KelpHR PoSH Awards, 2020, Mumbai on 22nd January. The KelpHR PoSH Awards are India’s first-ever Awards to recognize and felicitate organizations for their regulations and practices in promoting the ‘Safe Workplace Culture’.

Cigniti’s Contribution to Chief Minister COVID-19 Relief Fund
Cigniti Technologies contributed Rs. 50 Lakh to the Chief Minister Relief Fund on 30th March, 2020 to support the Government of Telangana to tackle the unprecedented situation caused by COVID-19. Our Chairman & Managing Director, Mr. C V Subramanyam handed over the cheque to Mr. KT Rama Rao, Minister of IT, Municipal Administration & Urban Development and Industry & Commerce, Govt. of Telangana.

Inauguration of New Global Delivery Center
Cigniti inaugurated it’s fifth Global Delivery Center at the 1st Floor, Mariner Block at Ascendas IT Park, Hyderabad. This facility will increase our overall office space to 200,000+ sq. ft. Our Chairman and MD, Mr. C V Subramanyam inaugurated the new facility in January, 2020. One of our prestigious clients from American retail sector graced the ceremony, along with Cigniti’s leadership team.
Global Meetups
Cigniti organized its first software testing Meetup in Atlanta on 5th March. We invited Scot Raymond Hanley, Head of QA & Director at Synovus, and Dr. David A. Bishop, Founder & CEO at Agile Worx as speakers to share their knowledge on “Role of Testing in DevOps”.
Srikanth Chakkilam, CEO, Cigniti Technologies and Pradeepkumar Govindasamy, President & CTO, Cigniti Technologies, Praveen Puram, Sr. Director-Global Delivery, Cory VanGundy. VP-Sales, and Brad Bowden, Sr. Director-Sales were also present at the event. There were a lot of insightful conversations, takeaways, and of course awesome interactions with leaders and peers in the industry.

CIO Philadelphia Summit
Our President, Kalyana Rao Konda, did an Executive Board room session to 10 CXOs where he presented on the topic ‘Accelerating Quality Engineering transformation by leveraging BlueSwan’ at a CIO Philadelphia Summit on 10th March.
Along with Kalyan, Siva Raman, AVP, Michael Chapman and Aimee Senour, Director have attended the summit and had meetings with CIOs and IT heads of different companies.
ATS Virtual Consultant Training Program
Cigniti conducted Advisory Transformation Services (ATS) Virtual consultant training program as part of Cigniti’s process improvement journey in December 2019. ATS Team received 24 nominations out of which 8 resources were shortlisted. After 4 days of rigorous training, a quiz was conducted and 7 resources were able to crack the quiz. These Virtual Consultants will be part of upcoming client assessments based on skills.
Prasad Gundu, AVP – Advisory and Transformation Services (ATS) & Process Management Group (PMG) was invited by Automation Anywhere Enterprise A2019 as a Speaker to Address the audience on Automation. There was a lot of insightful conversation and interaction among peers in the industry.
Tejas Joshi, Associate Director, Process contributed as a speaker in Hyderabad SPIN on the topic “GDPR and Privacy Re-engineering”. Practitioners from various organization attended and gained insights on the topic and also got to hear some GDPR best practices implemented in Cigniti.
Team Building Activities (ATS & Process)
Cigniti’s process team conducted activities to enhance the team’s collective knowledge and strengthen the collaborative spirit. From celebrating successes and milestones to creating an environment of continuous and collaborative learning, the events are aimed at bringing out the best in each team member.

Ramu Gurrapu, an ATS Consultant who is primarily a Techie, with his passion towards music started learning Carnatic flute from last 4 years. While he does group performances with his flute class mates and guru together, he also plays some light music in his leisure time. Launch of Policy & Process Nuggets
Policies and processes provide guidelines for employee behaviour in an organization and also form the base for the culture and the value system of the organization.
The HR team has launched an email campaign ‘Policy & Process Nuggets’, to help us know our policies and processes better. These nuggets have been designed in a simple way to help our employees easily understand important aspects of the policies and processes.

Prevention of Sexual Harassment | Mandatory e-learning – Launch 2
We have launched POSH Mandatory e-learning training for fulltime and contractors joined between July 3, 2019 till January 31, 2020. These trainings will not only help our organization to be compliant but also help us to create awareness and provide friendly and secure environment free from sexual harassment. This will be an ongoing exercise and new hires and old employees will continue to attend these trainings once in a year.
