Cigniti is proud to be featured as the finalist in 5 different categories at leading software testing awards! At ‘The European Software Testing Awards’ (TESTA) 2021, we were a finalist in three different categories in partnership with two of our long-term clients – Atom Bank and River Island.

In partnership with Atom Bank, we were nominated in the categories of Best Agile Project and the Testing Management Team of the Year award and in partnership with River Island in the category of Best Overall Testing Project (Retail) award.

For the ‘North American Software Testing Awards’ (NASTA) 2021, we were a finalist in partnership with our two key clients – Equitable Bank and Aviva.
In partnership with Equitable Bank we were nominated in the category Best Test Automation Project – Functional and in partnership with Aviva, we were nominated in the category Testing Management Team of the Year award. Kudos to the Cignitians associated with these projects!

Cigniti is recognized by Telangana State Government for commendable relief work during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Telangana Social Impact Group (T-SIG), the CSR cell of the Department of I&C, ITE&C, Government of Telangana honored and recognized Cigniti for its efforts made as part of the COVID-19 response as the country battles an invisible and deadly enemy. This recognition is given to the individuals and entities who have extended the highest levels of relief to citizens affected by COVID-19.

Cigniti is recognized as a Leader in Continuous Testing Specialists by Information Services Group (ISG) in its ISG Provider Lens™ Next-Gen Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) Services U.S 2021 report. Cigniti has been persistent in offering a gamut of services in the Continuous Testing realm and has been equally effective in executing large strategic Quality Engineering projects. Our services have successfully provided advisory competency to global enterprises across industries.

Krishnan Venkatachary, our CFO, shared insights on our growth in an interview with the Zee Business News TV channel.

He touched upon Cigniti’s future strategies and plans across key verticals (Retail, Healthcare, Travel, and Hospitality), expansion in the Czech Republic, new multimillion-dollar client wins, and more.

We had a week-long celebration of the “Attitude of Gratitude” at Cigniti between 23^rd and 27^th  August, which came to a close with a power-packed cultural event by the talented Cignitians.

The week of appreciation was focused around specific themes for each day which was Thank You Buddy, Boss you Inspire, Client Shout-outs, Hand-in-Hand with Enablers, and the last day saw Team Huddles and Accolades where teams spent some fun time catching up over a coffee and playing a leisure game or two.

The purpose of spreading goodwill through “Thank You” notes was well served with the wide participation through each day. Clients thanking teams through this platform was a cherry on the cake and was a pleasant gesture of appreciation and was well received at both ends.

This initiative provided a welcome moment of camaraderie and helped the teams forget the virtual fatigue. The event reiterated the important message saying a “Thank You”, and a little appreciation goes a long way.

Educators, instructors, trainers, or teachers; they have many names but they have one purpose – spreading the light of knowledge. Cigniti recently felicitated the Trainers of Cigniti on the occasion of Teacher’s day.

Cigniti’s President and Global Delivery Head, Raghuram Krovvidy shared the keynote speech appreciating the contributions of these individuals who have dedicated time and effort to share their knowledge and know-how with Cigniti’s emerging talent in partnership with the internal Talent Development team. The address by Sirisha Kommireddi, the Head of Talent Development at Cigniti, was inspiring. She acknowledged the value added by each of these trainers and reiterated the key role they play in shaping and strengthening the knowledge base of Cigniti.

The event helped the group unwind through the ‘Back to school’ fun quiz of riddles and a humorous narration of assorted funny incidents during in-class and online training sessions presented by a witty Cignitian – Pratik Pravin Bhatia.

The intent was to resonate that even during the unprecedented times, teachers have gone to incredible lengths to help their students keep learning. For this, to every teacher around the world, we have two words to say, thank you!

An extempore singing event was conducted on 29^th October to showcase the musical talent at Cigniti.  This event was organized to earmark the World Singing Day that was observed on the 17^th of October this year.  The overwhelming response in the form of both, performances and audience size made the event enjoyable and full of enthusiasm.

We also celebrated Halloween with an interesting campaign “Halloween Spook-tacular” and asked the North American Cignitians to share glimpses of their celebrations with family and friends.

As part of our CSR program, Project Cignificance, Cigniti donated 2,000 notebooks and 700 workbooks to over 300 students at the Erramanzil Government High School in Hyderabad. Additionally, Cigniti has adopted the school as part of its Model School project for long-term engagement and impact. Cigniti, in partnership with GMR Varalakshmi Foundation, is working at 12 schools surrounding Hyderabad to provide need-based infrastructure facilities and to raise the quality of education.

Cigniti signed a new agreement with the GMR Varalakshmi Foundation to support 12 government schools in Hyderabad as part of the Model School Project and as well as additional scholarship support for 60 girls from underprivileged backgrounds for EAMCET coaching, digital certification course, and other competitive exams. The educational initiative is aimed at the holistic transformation of the schools through academic, digital, and infrastructural upgrades.

Challenges in Cloud Migration and the need for Assurance Solutions

Sean Mack, CIO and CISO at Wiley (a major US-based publishing house) joined Raghuram Krovvidy, President and Global Delivery Head, Cigniti and shared actionable insights on how you can assure a successful cloud migration by anticipating challenges and leveraging insights from his vast experience. They also touched upon the best practices developed from planning and assuring enterprise cloud migrations. The webinar also helped registrants see Cigniti as a thought leader in Cloud Migration Assurance – one of our recently launched service offerings.

We hosted a closed-door insurance Round Table with six leading insurance thought leaders. Our CEO, Srikanth Chakkilam delivered a speech on how we aim to expand further and help support our clients in the near future. In the later part of the event, industry thought leader Partha Srinivas Raghavan delivered a keynote on Digital Trends in the insurance industry and Digital Assurance space, and Arunashu Paul presented Cigniti’s point of view on the theme of Digital Assurance.

Senior leaders from leading insurance companies across US and Canada joined the event for a panel discussion moderated by Jeremy Grigg, President and Founder, Council Vision. Our client partners Symu Koul and Georges Abdulahad brought the entire thought process into action to ensure client participation.

We successfully conducted the QA day event, a two-day virtual event for one of our insurance clients – Homesite, on Oct 28th and 29th, 2021. Going with the theme of ‘Digital Assurance – Enabling Seamless Customer Experience’, we hosted 16 speakers which include CIO, VP-IT, QA Heads, industry thought leaders, analysts CTO and more. We had over 140+ attendees throughout the event. Our CEO, Srikanth Chakkilam delivered the welcome note, Michael Saied – CIO at Homesite, the inaugural note, Dawn Fitzgerald – VP of Engineering and Technical Operations at Homesite, the leadership note, Diego Lo Giudice – VP & Principal Analyst at Forrester the keynote, Partha Srinivasa Raghavan – industry thought leader spoke on the role of Digital Assurance in Insurance, and Shamim Ahmed – CTO at Broadcom spoke on Test Data Management. Raj Pawar, SVP – Delivery at Cigniti discussed the role of AI in Digital Transformation and Deepak Vijayaragavan, Vice President – Delivery, shared insights on Cloud Migration Assurance.

We had an engaging panel discussion with an elite set of industry thought leaders as panelists consisting of Raghuram Krovvidy, President and Global Delivery Head at Cigniti and many others. The panel was ably moderated by Jeremy Grigg, Founder and President at Council Vision. The event concluded on a high where key members of Homesite Cigniti team were recognized for their efforts.

Digital Assurance in the Age of 5G

Director, 5G Centre of Excellence at AT&T, Jason Inskeep, and Chris Manuel, Vice President at Cigniti shared insights on which shifting skills are required for QA in a 5G landscape and why spectrum democratization matters in our latest QA Talks podcast.

As we continue to strengthen our partnerships with BFSI enterprises, we hosted three networking events in New York, Boston, and Chicago. They included CXOs and other senior IT leaders from some of the biggest brands in the industry. From Cigniti, the events were attended by members of the senior leadership including our Chairman and MD, Mr. C V Subramanyam and our CEO, Srikanth Chakkilam. Srinivas Jasti (Senu), VP – Business Development was also present at the events and drove the overall initiative.
